This Privacy Policy explains how Linguamarina, Inc. (the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information through our websites that link to this Policy (the “Site”), newsletters, forms, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Use of Information: We collect information you provide to us, such as contact details, preferences, and messages. We also collect technical and interaction information through the Services, including IP addresses, device and browser information, subscription details, and email opens and link clicks. This information may be associated with you or your subscription.
Some sections of the Site may contain various forms, offers, and surveys through which you may provide us with the following data:
Your identifiers and contact information — such as your name, mailing and/or e-mail address, references to profiles in social networks;
Commercial information — such as the records of services purchased through the Site or third-party websites;
Personal preference information — such as your preferred software and interests.
We use personal information to provide and improve the Services, manage subscriptions, deliver requested communications, respond to inquiries, understand audience engagement, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. We use automated tools, including AI-assisted analysis, to support these activities.
We use service providers for hosting, communications, subscription management, analytics, AI-assisted analysis, and operational support. These providers may process personal information on our behalf as necessary to provide their services, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on consent, contractual necessity, legal obligations, or legitimate interests, as appropriate to the activity. We obtain consent for marketing and tracking where required. Our legitimate interests include securing and improving the Services and responding to business inquiries, subject to your rights and applicable law.
Personally identifiable information is never sold or leased to any third parties.
With your permission, we may use your contact information to send you information about our company and products. You may always opt out of receiving future mailings as provided below.
The Company does not store any credit card information it may receive in regard to a specific transaction and/or billing arrangement — except as necessary to complete and satisfy its rights and obligations with regard to such transaction, billing arrangement, and/or as otherwise authorized by a user.
The Company may disclose user information to third parties in special cases when we have reason to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference (either intentionally or unintentionally) with the Company’s rights or property, other users of the Site, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities. This disclosure will be limited to the extent necessary to fulfill the purposes set out herein.
The Company may also be required to disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities — including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Please also note that third parties who provide and/or publish content via the Company’s Site shall be deemed the data controllers for any personal data contained in the content uploaded by any such party to the Company’s Site ("Third-Party Content") and any other personal data processed in relation to such Third-Party Content. Such third parties are responsible for their own data practices. This Privacy Notice only concerns the processing for which the Company is a data controller. If you have any questions regarding personal data contained in the Third-Party Content, please contact the third-party provider responsible for such Third-Party Content.
The Company retains personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
